Computing Directions

Computing Directions operates several 'listserv' mailing lists.  Relevant information for Synergetic users is emailed to the members of the lists.  Some lists, such as the "Crystal" list allows discussions between members of that list.

We run several mailing lists by which you and your staff can receive timely and appropriate email messages.

Accountants	This list is used to notify Accountants, Business Managers and related finance operators of important information relating to the use of the Synergetic Finance modules at your site.	subscribe unsubscribe
Admins	This list is used to notify administrators of important information relating to the use of Synergetic at your site.   Release notes are sent to this list.	subscribe unsubscribe
Assessments	This list is used to notify creditors users of important information relating to the use of the Synergetic Assessments module at your site.	subscribe unsubscribe
Creditors	This list is used to notify creditors users of important information relating to the use of the Synergetic Creditor module at your site.	subscribe unsubscribe
Crystal	This is a discussion list which members can use to communicate with other Crystal Reports users.	subscribe unsubscribe
Debtors	This list is used to notify debtors users of important information relating to the use of the Synergetic Debtor module at your site.	subscribe unsubscribe
GST	This list is used to publish and discuss GST issues regarding Synergetic.	subscribe unsubscribe
NetworkAdmins	This list is used to notify network administrators of important information relating to the use of Synergetic at your site. This may include SQL7/2000 operation or configuration, NT related issues, or network issues.	subscribe unsubscribe

To subscribe to any list, simply email lists@lists.cda.com.au
with the command

subscribe LISTNAME

in the body of the message

eg:-
email lists@lists.cda.com.au with

subscribe VIC

in the message body to subscribe to the Victorian Users list.

We recommend that you have your staff subscribe to the appropriate mailing lists so that they may be kept informed. 
If users subscribe to a list they are already a member of, they will get a delivery failure message with a in-line message of "Already a list member." in between the lines of hyphens.
